I have been invited to put on a pop-up Exbo of my new work and selected other artists in what was Mathews Restaraunt opposite the main reception at the custard factory. Nice Space, this event should be up and running in the next few days. posting of time and dates soon. Thought Provoking !!

Just a few words to the Children who worked so hard on delivering a fantastic art project about their area, managing to cover a 4mtr x 1.50mtr canvas in 2days was in my opinion a challenge. but they rose to deliver not just a projection of fact, but a imaginative freize/murial, so well done.

I hope to have some photos available to view of our project very soon.

Hello to all,

I was recently invited to take part in the Florence Bienniel in italy,On December 3rd-10th 2011, The internal committe had decreed my art as Representive to their outlook, I have to admit I was pleased. Recent participants Gilgert & George etc & so a Credible event. If I can gain the sponsership money I shall certainly be taking part, I honestly believe that the Art I am producing right now as the strongest content & statement I have Released so far!!.

Secrets and patterns

I was chattin with a Friend recently about capturing movement in painting, so I told him to look for patterns, such as you would find in the motions of ripples in a pond. Then Replicate what you see, Usually this method will give the desired effect, How-ever i did point out that i do it by the way of a free flowing brush over the canvas!!. Just make sure that your strokes are simular to make sure that the different subjects tie in together.

Hello and welcome to painting lessons with Bryn.

My way of teaching you is to lead a way through your woods & bring you to your own light. Sounds Enchanting & Adventurous, even Mystical. Well it can be, most of all it’s Enjoyable. Makes a Great xmas or Birthday present or for that matter a Nice treat!!.

How can we achieve this?

Well it’s like looking at the clouds, we see suggestive shapes that make faces & forms. This is derived from our imagination, our brain makes us see because it automatically needs to comprehend something out of nothing. So looking onto a blank canvas, as if peering through a window, makes our imagination flow and from this we can start.

Even just a few involuntary movements is enough to draw out what we want to release and start the beginnings of a composition, leading to a picture that is truely unique. Revealing images that speak of our innerself. To express a thought or idea through imagery leads to many inspirational notions, which help in life’s entirety.

I can and do deliver all kinds of painting lessons, but my priority is to make sure it’s a enjoyable experience.

Here on the left is a typical image, ( 30cm-40c) oil on canvas, that you can achieve & take home from just one lesson. It relates to a mood of tranquility, coming from a lady who has a busy life “She wished for a little peace”. I would like to add, she was a complete beginner.

So please dont have pre-conceptions about what you can achieve. With a little guidance any obstacle or fear can be removed.

Hello, here is where I will be keeping you updated on forthcoming exhibitions, and news on works in progress. Also entering into discussions on or about ART. How can Art improve our life? Also, how we can view art, so as to make sense! I still can’t get my head around some of the works one see’s in particular gallery’s today. I do try, but find it difficult, it’s as if a relationship can’t be found. It may be I have a mental block to certain notions, which don’t relate to what I consider Art is.
